I didn’t even manage to tell you all the reason I picked up the camera in the first place because I thought I should explain a bit more about yesterday given I’m now in a much calmer state.

The reason is that I was craving a vape/cigarette by the end of the day. I’ve been in Bendigo for approximately just under five hours.

I had sat outside Specsavers writing out a fully detailed message to my sister explaining exactly what had happened and why we have to leave where we are. As well as why I am no longer going to live with Merv. But when I sent it, half was missing! It was obviously too long. I thought I had copied all of it before sending it but I didn’t, I only had half available in my clipboard.

I went back into Specsavers to try on frames since I have my appointment booked for Tuesday afternoon, but then found out they closed at 4pm, which it was. I had basically sat outside of it for an hour, writing my message, only for half of it to disappear and the store to close while I was doing it.

By that time, I desperately wanted a cigarette or a vape. So, I went to the place someone had told me they were sold. I am incredibly proud of myself for not buying a vape, considering the cheapest one started at $50 and went all the way up to $100. So, I bought a package of cigarettes instead for $20. I do like having some for desperate times.

The last thing I was saying before the camera cut me off, was that, the house Merv and I saw was definitely not big enough for two people, but it might be suitable for just me and Happy. When we saw it the first time it was crowded with people everywhere so it was hard to get a real feel for the place, nor could we even see everything. 

Yesterday, I contacted the guy we’ve been speaking with and asked if it was possible for me to view just for myself when there less people around so that I could take some measurements of the rooms etc. He got back to me this today letting me know that next weekend was fine, so that’s something. The place needs some work, but for the price with the bills included it could be quite nice for just Happy and I.

Because I have been selected for jury summons in Bendigo, I have to stay in this area anyway. And the property the house is on is truly lovely even if the house needs some work.

Anyway, I saw cheap petrol, so, I’m going to go fill up before heading home.

Merv has messaged just earlier to check that I’m ok, since the dentist appointment itself was for only approximately an hour, and I’ve been gone far longer than that.
