I put up an ad on Facebook Marketplace today after another shitty experience with the woman who owns the place where we’re currently staying.

A wonderful new person answered quite quickly afterwards and we spoke on the phone. She is on 44 acres not far from where we currently are. Her property is much much nicer.

I asked if she has a bath I might be able to use and she does and she was more than happy for me to. I asked if I could have one tomorrow and she said yes. She showed us all through her home and it’s gorgeous. The bathtub is massive!! A full size length and deep bath that is just perfect. I am so excited to finally be able to have a bath. And it’s nice and clean and doesn’t reek of cat piss and crap!

We are going to start taking things that fit into the car tomorrow. Merv has said he’s happy to cut fire wood or help out on anything she may need while I’m in the tub. I’ll be in there awhile I dare say lol

I am so damn happy that I trusted my instinct and cancelled the fortnightly Rent payments so that we weren’t still three weeks ahead. There’s no way we would have gotten our money back.

We are going to move the actual van to the new property on Thursday since we’re in Melbourne on both Wednesday and Friday. As well as having things on in Bendigo on Monday.  It’s going to be a long week.

We just got home now. It’s freezing so time to get warmed up inside and have some dinner and chill out in front of the new TV we got today.
