After waiting 45 minutes for the brown time to cook, I stepped away from the beans for too long and all the spices burnt to the bottom 🤦♀️
Upon tasting, it is incredibly spicy. It tastes ok but the ratio of beans and spices was to mix through all the rice, but I don’t want to do that since burning them 😆
Hopefully, it’s ok. But if not, I always have toast! 😂

Not great. Nope not great at all and definitely spicy. Think I’ll figure out something else to put with the rice.
Right now, peas are sounding really good ☺
