So I have once and for all decided I genuinely really want to keep cutting down how much time I watch Netflix.

But instead of going cold turkey and removing both of them from my home at once, I realised I need to work up to having no tvs if that is what I decide. But right now, I still enjoy the comfort of cuddling up with Boss and watching a movie or series in the evenings when I have finished everything I need to do for the day. I have already reduced how much tv I watch, by a great deal, so I’m feeling really good about starting with removing the tv out of the living room.

Got to be honest and say I did have a completely brain dead moment when I first realised that I still want one in my room but not lounge. My lounge tv is a 50 inch smart tv, yet my bedroom tv is a 40 inch non smart tv that I connect to the internet through an anycast dongle and my laptop. My original thought was that I’d put the smart tv into storage if my sister didn’t want to use it. Before I even asked though, it hit me how silly it would be to put my newer smart tv in storage or give to someone else to use 🤣🤦‍♀️ so that will be going into my room and the other tv will be removed from my house.

My sister said they have tvs in every room of their house except my niece’s and that’s only because there’s no where to put one. Though she did say the kids love watching shows together in my nephew’s room. She also said she was sure of they would even have storage for it.

Then yesterday I met my vet nurse friend at the dog park so our fur babies could play together and have a decent run, while she and I caught up. Once the dogs were completely worn out and lying down in the park, we decided to go back to hers. Since Melbourne Australia has spent so much of the past couple of years in lockdowns, it was the first time for me going to her place. It was, and I got to meet her partner.

Later on in the evening I had a thought… and then this happened 💜💞

I am ready to make the switch as soon as I organise a new stereo or speakers or something, like my title says, I am finding this more difficult than I thought it would be lol 😆

I absolutely need to have a way to have music on my birthday so if I can’t find something suitable that I can click and collect with, then I’ll just male the switch wheny friend and her partner can come over and help me move them, when they can after new years. I want no tv in the living room as close to the 1st of January as possible lol

Anyway, time to actually go do stuff like spare room and putting stuff away. Plus house really needs a vaccum 😬😅

It’s absolutely beautiful outside right now. High of 25 degrees so I want to get want I want done so I can enjoy the nice weather 🌞🌝
