Day 1135: 5th March 2025 | Merv and I are set up watching MAFS 😆
We’re sitting in recliners in the waiting room in front of the TV. Which we can actually hear tonight since I asked for the remote to be left out to turn the volume up. We are still at the hospital. It’s day six. Seven if you include the almost ten hours we were here on

Day 1131: 3rd March 2025 | Went home and back to the hospital today ☺️
It’s been a very long day. Hour and a half drive in each direction from our place to the hospital and accommodation I’m staying at. I got some more dog food for Jackson. More clean clothes for myself and some food from home. Bread, apples, carrots, container of vegan butter, tomatoes, Vegemite, and pineapple juice.

Day 1130: 2nd March 2025 | My arm is swollen, yet I have no idea what I’ve done 😅
It’s been another long day at the hospital with Merv. I was there most of the day. We watched The Morning Show on my laptop until Married At First Sight started at 7:00 p.m. which we streamed live on 9Now. I went and got myself some food from Woolworths. I bought a few microwave meals

Day 1129: 1st March 2025 | Merv has to stay in hospital for at least a week! 😲
I’m in shock. I had no idea it would be so long. But I am happy he is getting the best care he needs. The surgery went well. He now has a vac pac connected to the wound that is constantly draining fluid out of his leg. I know I haven’t yet posted the picture

Day 1128: 28th February 2025 | Merv’s surgery went well!! 🥳
I’m so happy and relieved to have heard the grateful to have heard from the hospital after his surgery. We’ve been at the hospital since 8:00 a.m. Merv was taken in for surgery at 8:35 p.m. I am studying in the Red Cross accommodation across the street from the hospital. I am in a lovely

Day 1127: 27th February 2025 | We’re back at the doctors but will be going to the hospital 🏥
I’ve taken a picture of the wound, which I will upload for anyone who wants to see it. It’s gross, though. so, be warned. We will definitely be heading to the hospital today. The wound is getting deeper and still smells. I’m so worried about him. Even the nurse here says to go to Rockhampton

Day 1126: 26th February 2025 | Merv’s leg is getting worse. I’m taking him to the hospital tomorrow
I am beyond worried. We were back at the doctors clinic today. The wound is deeper, weeping more, and now it smells. Even the nurse said both yesterday and today that it smells. I personally haven’t smelled it myself. The doctor said Merv needs to go to the hospital and see if they can drain

Day 1125: 25th February 2025 | Merv decided to go to the clinic due to his leg wound smelling off 😅
He was changing the dressing on the wound since they only last a couple of days before it starts to drip fluids. Just writing that makes me feel quesy. The wound was repacked (due to how wide and deep it is) and rebandaged. The doctor confirmed that the specimen taken was clear and free from

Day 1124: 24th February 2025 | Watching Worst Room-mate Ever on Netflix…
I am so happy Merv is my housemate. So very happy. 9:35 p.m. NOTE: I have no idea why some of the videos are saying they are restricted. If anyone has an idea, please let me know in the comments. I am going to contact support to try and figure it out.
