It made my arm go numb so it worked in that way, but I knew immediately that something wasn’t quite right with it. We did some practice pokes with the edge of a sharp knife to confirm it really was numb. Let’s just say, I have to get better at applying the numbing cream evenly.

Anyway, this particular test has left my arm incredibly red. I’ve never seen anything like this before. And it really looks like the redness is spreading. We’ve taken photos of it and are continuing to monitor it. Hopefully it will be OK in the morning. Goes without saying that I won’t be using it.

Happy won’t stop licking my feet so I’m going to upload this and then deal with her, so we can go back to watching the show we are. La Palma on Netflix.
