I’ve taken a picture of the wound, which I will upload for anyone who wants to see it. It’s gross, though. so, be warned.

We will definitely be heading to the hospital today. The wound is getting deeper and still smells. I’m so worried about him. Even the nurse here says to go to Rockhampton instead of Gladstone.

The doctor is saying Merv needs to see a surgeon. I could cry. I wish I had just made him come straight away. The nurses and doctors here at the clinic don’t understand what is happening.
