Since it’s a baby, it makes me think there might be more.

I walked it far away from the house before letting it go.  The poor thing was still crying.

I’m about to finish the cupboard I’ve been working on so that I can put the stuff away and take the rest of the plates, pots and Tupperware out of the remaining cupboards to sort them too.

Then, I only have the cupboards under the sink to do. Won’t be today, given the time, but I am pleased I’m nearly done and know where specifically to keep an eyebout for mice.

Boss is booked to get his stitches out at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, and then we’re going to visit Cathy to watch the first Beetlejuice as a refresher before going to see the new ones.

As I type this, I can hear another baby mouse. Sounds exactly the same.

Update: Almost as soon as I got back from setting the mouse free, I heard another one. So, I ended up emptying the cupboard under the sink where the first one was. There were two more babies. The mother was there also. It looked like she died in childbirth, but the babies were pretty big, so they must have been born sometime ago. I’ve had pet mice and had to feed mice to my snake, so I am very aware of the size of mice. I just feel really bad for separating the first mouse from the other two. They were all squeaking away so much.

Now, the cupboard underneath the sink is completely empty. It needs a really good scrub clean. Then I am going to fill in the holes that I are there. Now that these mice are all gone, I really want to make sure all the gaps are closed to keep others out.
