I was so excited about my order. I ordered a large cheeseburger meal, with no patty, added extra cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. I also removed the tomato sauce and ketchup and instead got McChicken sauce instead. I also ordered a coffee frappe as the drink and a hot apple pie.

My order was confirmed and everything seemed fine. Then it said the driver was waiting and it 6 the correct address for the McDonald’s around the corner from me. The app then said the driver was on his way and getting closer.

Then the strangest thing happened. The app refreshed itself and the next thing I see is that the timer now says 24 minutes until driver arrives. Mind you it had already been well over 40 minutes by that point. So, I called the driver and asked what was going on and he said he got lost. I said the food would be terrible and I wanted to cancel but he only mumbled something and then hung up. I then had to call the delivery people who work directly with the McDonald’s App. Obviously, it was cancelled but boy did it piss me off.

So, I’m having cheese toasted sandwiches and they are now ready.
