Thankfully I am focusing on reminding myself to remember what I say to my friends and other students when they have days where not much uni gets done, and that is, it’s ok. Number 1 on the list above is so valid. For all of us. For me as well as you my dear reader ☺️
I recently noticed that my life is starting to fill up with more things to do and people to see, plus my work shift and uni.
What I struggle with more than anything are the reasons why I’m on disability in the first place. I cannot function at a capacity to work even a part-time job due to how debilitating the mental and physical health conditions I live with, day in and day out, affecting literally every single thing I do, right down to whether or not just wearing clothes hurt due to the intensity the pain I live with is and yet even though I know I need at minimum one day of rest for every day I do something that exerts energy, for example, I have to drive to see my doctor on the other side of the city tomorrow.
The thing is, the reason I haven’t achieved much uni-wise is because of how much pain I’m in from having several pretty full-on days in a row. It truly is incredibly difficult to concentrate wellnenough to write a third year psychology stats lab report. Plus, on top of all the heightened pain I’m in, my butt really hurts from sitting on the accessible stage for most of the festival on Friday 😆
I need to make a video and have plenty I want to talk about but barely enough energy. My last two videos are so short they barely count, but something is better than nothing when you’re holding yourself accountable to life😅
I want to use my new camera and come to think of it, since it will be short, I will. I want to start using it from now anyway. It’s just that for the moment, I plan to continue to film on both just until I have fully gotten the hang of it. Hmm, I wonder if I can find a class that teaches people how to use a camera correctly 🤔
I’m not sure that I’ll get much done tonight in the way of uni, but I do know that it will get done. Everything always does. I have already decided to get an extension put in place anyway 🤓
I finally decided on a prepared meal service delivery company this morning. What I could see of the menu looked good, but after selecting the 12 meals a week plan, creating my account, setting up the payment and day of arrival, all of it, I was finally shown the preselected meals chosen for me. For the entire 12 meals, they had only three different meal options. Four of each were selected. So I went to the full menu, and there were pages of different meal options, all of which I could not eat.
I contacted them on chat and was advised there are only a few vegetarian options available each week. I found it utterly ridiculous. I told them if I wanted to eat the same thing every day, then I’d cook twice a week 🤨😒
So, now I’m back where I started 😣
