So the procedure was much easier than I thought it would be. I got to see inside my bladder. They numbed the inside of my vagina first, and let me say, that is a really strange feeling.
My new specialist said it appears I have been misdiagnosed even though my bladder is definitely not how it is supposed to be. The nerves are over sensitive and causes spasms, resulting in the symptoms I have been experiencing for the past 11 years.
Thankfully she believes it will be easy to manage. She is starting me on antispasm medication to begin with. Then, in a couple of months will look at dropping the current line I’m on. If the meds don’t work, she said she will put botox into my bladder which can be done through the public system.
I just want to feel better..
