Mum and I went out on Thursday for the day. I took her to look for new boots as hers broke when she got here (in Australia, from New Zealand). Anyway, found some she loved so got them for her as her birthday present.

I said if the piercing place had $5 piercing sale, which means you basically only pay fpr thr jewellery on top of the $5. The sale was on, which made me very excited. I decided that I wanted to get two new ones that I had been thinking about for ages.

For our birthday and Christmas etc, mum usually puts $100NZ on her visa debit card, which allows us (my sister and I) to purchase ourselves a gift online. This is because actually putting money I an overseas account comes with a lot of bank fees. But mum said this time since she is here, she would like to pay for the piercings as an early birthday present. I really appreciated this.

Neither piercing actually hurts, but the back of the piercing in the top photo sits exactly where my glasses sit so I am definitely feeling it given I need to wear glasses for basically everything except reading a book.
