I am an absolute mess. I honestly can’t believe it. I am heartbroken and going between feeling numb and uncontrollable crying.

My beautiful, fun, funny, intelligent, wonderfully unique philosophy friend who I met at University, Randy, has passed away in his sleep. He only recently turned 23. He graduated with a three-year degree, in only two years, all during Covid, and had just landed a job that he was so excited about.

Randy and I talked almost every day. He absolutely loved video calls, and we only ever spoke like that. The last time I saw him in person was last Wednesday after uni when I went to his place. I am so happy I saw him then.

He had been wanting to have a proper video call since he got the job, but I was so stressed out about the bloody uni assignment. The last time we spoke via video was Tuesday this week (6th September 2022 at 11:24 am). We spoke for 18 minutes, which is really short for us. The last time we messaged was briefly about the discord community I have created since he was planning to join.

I am so so so sad right now. Randy, you are beautiful. I know your essence with us all. Everything is connected. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend. I truly love you. I will always remember you for the magnificent being you are xxx
